Reykjavik, Iceland

This is a destination I have always wanted to visit for one reason. I have heard that there is more green land in Iceland than Greenland has. And there is more ice land in Greenland than there is in Iceland.

That’s the only reason.

I have this deep sense that there is another color of green in Iceland. I’m not saying the grass is always greener on the other side! I just think there is a vibrant green my eyes have not seen yet.

The funny thing is…

I’m color-blind…to greens. Hilarious! However, I still have a burning desire to visit Iceland at some point. Speaking of burning…I hear there are many volcanoes in Iceland. Fire and Ice and Green.

This is a place I MUST visit!

There is another huge reason I need to visit this place. I didn’t know it until I started blogging.

Periodically, I have been looking at the statistics of where my readers are from. You’ll never guess the top three countries that my readers are from!

1. United States of America
2. Canada
3. Iceland

Yep, that’s right! Iceland. I can’t believe it either. So, now, more than ever, I am determined to visit Iceland. I would love to see the volcanoes, the green land, the mountains and valleys. I would love to eat locally harvested fish and lamb. I would love to try skyr. Going mountain-biking or river-rafting would definitely be on my itinerary.

But most importantly, I would love to see how the Lord is expressing Himself there. I would love to see Christ building His Organic Church in Iceland!

So, how about it readers? Who is from Iceland…or has been there?

What has Body Life been like for you? Are you part of an Expression of Christ?

Until we meet face to face, may the text we read encourage us to be in Christ together!

Dude. You’re soccer post on FB brought me here while watching the US play Brazil. Decided to poke around and found this. Eldon and I went to Iceland last year as it was on my top places to visit in Europe as well, it was amazing. I loved it! We went caving, snorkeling and hiking, it was brilliant!
