The Organic Church as an Eternal Experience

Seeing the Organic Church in Her glory is unlike anything ever seen. Even more importantly, the Organic Church in her glory is unlike anything ever experienced.

There is a deep desire in Christ for His Bride. Having a deep relationship with the one He pursues is the most beautiful thing on the planet.

Organic Church has become a buzzword in the Christian community. Defining Organic Church has been defined elsewhere by Milt Rodriguez and Frank Viola. The purpose of this article is to introduce the second aspect of this blog as I have taken a turn towards a New Edition.

Contextualizing the Eternal Christ

I have kept up with a few perspectives on the Organic Church. I have seen quite a few people online make comments or post articles about actually seeing Organic Church. I have seen searching. I have searched.

There is a verse that says ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you.

What are we asking for?

What are we seeking?

Where are we knocking?

I have seen that I have asked for personal requests. I have asked for things that I thought would make me feel better, or things that would make a certain thing more efficient.

I looked for things that would fulfill me. I looked for things that I enjoyed. I looked for things to be a part of so that I was able to feel like I was doing good things for the Kingdom.

I knocked on as many doors I thought were open. I even knocked down doors to fulfill what I thought was the plan!

But there was something missing for me. The texture of Christ. For He is the answer to all of the above questions. His expression is the point of our asking, our seeking, our knocking. This has become an experience. Not an event. The experience has been something shared with many people outside of our time and space, outside of our realm.

This is the basis of the Eternal Experience.

As you visit and come back to these posts, Thursdays will be days to see the context of the Eternal Christ Who provides the Eternal Experience. The Eternal Experience has the potential to forever change your view on Christ. There will be the opportunity to see the context of Body Life and perhaps a texture will begin to reveal itself.

Until the kickoff on June 7, may the yearning for the expression of the Eternal Christ grow inside your spirit and may you be involved in the Eternal Experience soon.

    Consider me apatized!

Near the end of 2011 a brother asked me what my desire was for 2012, I said it was to experience, encounter, and relate to Christ, to dive into His grace and to seek Him, and to share from this experience. Near the same time I ordered Frank Viola’s complete set of books. I felt like a hungry lion inside a meat locker, I couldn’t get enough.

Here today I desire to experience the community of a group of followers sharing and relating the Eternal Christ.

Mark your post stirs my interest, and will look forward to this journey.

Jim, I’m stoked for you! The Lord has awakened the lion inside you. The meat locker is a wonderful analogy. Also, Milt Rodriguez’ wife wrote a book called “Return to the Wild.” It is a great read about Lions. I would highly recommend it!
