Warning Signs for the New Year: January 5

What books did you pick up yesterday? Did you sign up for any classes? If you did, awesome! You are doing a GREAT job of dodging those distractions. Maybe you don’t need to order books just yet, but keep an eye out for that education warning sign. Next up…

Each day this month, I am bringing you 31 Warning Signs. What do you need to be watching out for as you are attacking your New Year’s Resolutions this year? Don’t let these things distract you. On to the next one! #31WarningSigns

Major Cause of Failure Number 5:

Lack of self-discipline. Discipline comes through self-control. This means that one must control all negative qualities. Before you can control conditions, you must first control yourself. Self-mastery is the hardest job you will ever tackle. If you do not conquer self, you will be conquered by self. Which one are you feeding? The disciplined, powerful ox, or the stubborn, lazy donkey? If you hear a lot of hee-haws, you might be feeding the donkey… #31WarningSigns

Those goals are worth it. Be disciplined towards your goals. Walk through them with someone that will enable both of you to help keep each other disciplined until you gain your desired harvest. Again…those goals are worth it.

On with your day people! And remember…

Go. Grow. Give.
