Now on to the next of the 31 Warning Signs. What do you need to be watching out for as you are attacking your New Year’s Resolutions this year? #31WarningSigns

DAY 7

Major Cause of Failure Number 7:

Unfavorable environmental influences during childhood. “As the twig is bent, so shall the tree grow.” Most people who have criminal tendencies acquire them as the result of bad environment, and improper associates during childhood.

– Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich

We all know that guy who couldn’t get out of trouble because of the folks he was around. Always making poor choices. Sure he was funny for a minute, but we knew he was going to make a pretty bad choice that led him to a pretty big demise. And then it happened.

The interesting thing about all of that was it was always based on choice. Find out what decisions you are making today because of ill-thought decisions from the past. You can still dodge them. Just make that choice! #31WarningSigns

It might even be helpful to talk with a sibling, or parent, or friend from way back to help process some of your choices. Don’t let them keep creeping in on you today! Even if it’s He-Man making you think you have the Power of Grayskull!

Hey Michael, thanks for adding to the conversation. This article is much more professional for sure! Thanks for sharing it. It’s a bummer that we can’t see how we interact with kids today affects their future. And for those of us who have been affected, getting out begins with those around us who love us. Thankful for your Life and your sharing!
