Warning Signs for the New Year: January 9

David Beckham. The man. The myth. The legend. How was your day yesterday? Did the hour come calling? Did you show up? If so, great! If not, that’s ok. Keep at it…

Which leads us to the next of the 31 Warning Signs. What do you need to be watching out for as you are attacking your New Year’s Resolutions this year? #31WarningSigns

Major Cause of Failure Number 9:

Lack of persistence. Most of us are good “starters” but poor “finishers” of everything we begin. Moreover, people are prone to give up at the first signs of defeat. There is no substitute for persistence. The person who makes persistence his watch-word, discovers that “Old Man Failure” finally becomes tired, and makes his departure. Failure cannot cope with persistence.

– Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich

Everyone has begun a project and got distracted…especially when things get difficult. Could you imagine “Old Man Failure” giving up and leaving your doorstep? #31WarningSigns

I believe it comes down to knowing where you’re going. It’s important to remember those definitive goals. If persistence isn’t a trait you have toward these goals, pull the list out and peruse them again. Imagine how your life would be if you achieved your goals that you are going after this year.

With that imagination revving up, be persistent at attacking those goals! “Old Man Failure” is getting fatigued!
