DAY 15

Major Cause of Failure Number 15:

Wrong selection of a mate in marriage. This is a most common cause of failure. The relationship of marriage brings people intimately into contact. Unless this relationship is harmonious, failure is likely to follow. Moreover, it will be a form of failure that is marked by misery and unhappiness, destroying all signs of ambition.

– Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich

Yeah he did. He said it. He’s talking about your spouse. He died in 1970, so you can’t slap him. He’s not wrong though. If you’re spouse isn’t on board with your passions and you aren’t on board with their passions…ummm…what is your marriage really about? #31WarningSigns

Dig into their passions. Build them up. Help them reach their goals. Set goals together. Find a way to go after something…together. Dig deep into your relationship and be known. Be sure they know your passions at the core of who you are. Be sure they know your purpose in life. Be sure you know theirs. Who can you bring those passions together? Get to that harmonious place with your spouse! Your happiness and vitality depend on it!

On with your day people! And remember…

Go. Grow. Give.
