Like a kid’s playroom is filled with little ones that are about finding the best toy and using it themselves…and not sharing, yesterday reminded us of the value of cooperation. No slapping of hands required.
Before we get to the next warning sign…a questionnaire. Please let us know how you’re doing!
Alright, now on to the next of the 31 Warning Signs. What do you need to be watching out for as you are attacking your New Year’s Resolutions this year? #31WarningSigns
Major Cause of Failure Number 26:
Possession of power that was not acquired through self effort. (Sons and daughters of wealthy men, and others who inherit money which they did not earn). Power in the hands of one who did not acquire it gradually is often fatal to success. Quick riches are more dangerous than poverty.
– Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich
It’s hard to start from scratch. Not starting from scratch is very close to the idea of January 12’s topic of Uncontrolled desire for “something for nothing.” Fighting from the bottom doesn’t seem like too much fun. Using someone else’s money is quite a bit easier…right? It reduces the perceived risk. #31WarningSigns
Starting from the bottom and working our way up teaches us many lessons. If you start at the top, it’s easier to get knocked off and not return because you are not aware of the steps it takes to get there.
Working our way up, in and of itself, provides you with confidence and power to face your obstacles. It allows for you to see the rungs of the ladder…just in case you might need them again…for review purposes only, of course.
If you’re working your way up towards you high-end goals, good for you! Keep it up. Those New Year’s Resolutions are always nice when they are taken one-by-one. So let’s do it! One. By. One.
And before you go, watch this video to grab a small amount of motivation for today!
On with your day people! And remember…
Go. Grow. Give.
